Jellyfish are great – they just drift through the oceans with the currents. They have been on Planet Earth for over 550 million years. Related to the hydroids, anemones and corals they are simple multi-celled creatures with a mouth and stomach, and stinging tentacles for protection against their predators and for catching their prey. The feed mostly on phytoplankton and zooplankton.
